Well, today I am starting my man blog. I know this may seem girly or what not to blog, but I'm gonna give it a shot.
This past week I felt somewhat defeated in certain areas of my life. I felt discouraged despite all the many good things I've been accomplishing. Last night as I was driving to two different friends' wedding receptions, I kept changing the radio station until I heard a "cool" sounding song. It seemed like there were at least 5 stations that were playing Christian rock. I listened and loved how they testified through song about Christ and what he can do for us. I was touched.
I realized that all those negative thoughts that were "defeating" me were from Satan. He wants to stop us. He'll try to scare us, make us doubt, and discourage us. My reaction and what I'll do now: I'm going to fill my mind with so many positives there are no room for the bad. What's most important is that we focus on Christ and that we really serve Him. As we do so, He will fill our lives with joy. I've experienced that before, so I determine to attain that again, today!
